And so, the girls were doomed... doomed to repeat this very same story.  They would try and try to find a way out, maybe try the same ending... but it was no use... every time they tried, they always end up the same... will there be no way out for them... will there be no way out?

----------------------------------------

On one particular loop, the girls were sighing hopelessly as they were on the lift again. This was their fifth attempt... sixth?  Sixtieth?  Thousandth?  They weren't sure anymore.  The matter was, they were sick and tired of hearing the same narration over and over again.  They were even quoting word for word as the narrator spoke it.

"This is it girls, your chance to redeem yourselves.  To put your work aside, to let THEM back into your lives.  Your boyfriends have been waiting."

They knew it was pointless as they entered the dark room.  They knew about the dummies, why did they even try anymore?  The light shined as the phone started to ring.

"That's your boyfriends, girls.  One of you needs to be the one to do this, to reach out to them.  If you can truly place your faith in your boyfriends... please... pick up the phone."

"I'm tired of this..." Rhonda groaned.

"We have no choice." Pudding said, about to pick up the phone.

"No, we do!" Rhonda frowned.  "But our stupid narrator wants us stuck in this stupid loop, and she refuses to let us go!  I just want it to end!  I just want to go home!  AND I AM SICK OF HEARING THAT STUPID PHONE!"

In anger, Rhonda went over to the power cord where the phone was and unplugged it right out of the socket, causing the phone to stop ringing.

"As the girls picked up the phone, a white light engulfed them, filling them not just with radiance, but with hope.  Hope for a life reunited once... wait... wait what?"

Red, Pudding, Penny and Katie stared in shock as Rhonda looked over in shock as she noticed that she was holding the plug to the phone.

"...Rhonda... did you just unplug the phone?"

"I... think I did." Rhonda said in shock.

The girls then heard the narrator sputtering.

"B-b-b-but that wasn't even supposed to be a choice!  How did you manage to do that?"

"Hey, I'm as shocked as you are, Solara!" Pudding called up.

"You girls... actually chose... wrong?  I didn't think that was possible!  Hang on a sec, let me double check!"

The girls then heard some papers rustling.

"No, no, it's definitely here, clear as day!  The girls pick up the phone, they are taken to the apartment where they find their boyfriends hostage, they save the boyfriends, they go home respectively, they kiss, music comes in, fade to white, roll the credits!"

"Bullcrap, Narrator!" Penny said.  "You didn't have our boyfriends, and you know it!"

"But not picking up the phone is actually somehow an incorrect choice.  How is that even possible?  None of these decisions were supposed to mean anything!  I don't understand.  How on earth are you able to make meaningful choices?  What, di- unless... no, that's not possible.  I can't believe it.  How had I not noticed it sooner?"

"What?" Red asked in confusion.

"You found a way out.  To your homes... your real homes..."

The girls jumped in shock as Penny said, "Wait, for real?"

"How do we know this isn't another trick?" Katie asked.

"When you unplugged the phone, it caused a narrative contradiction to my story, ripped open a plot hole.  You can use it to escape... but at the same time, it'll cause this reality to be warped.  I can't believe it.  It explains why you've been able to make both correct and incorrect choices.  And to think, I've been letting you run around in this game for so long.  Any more of a wrong choice, and you may get out of the story entirely."

"You mean, if we make one more wrong choice, we can go home?" Red said in excitement.

"This is entirely unacceptable!  Girls, you have completely ignored even the most basic safety protocol for real-world decision making, or did you not get the severity of the situation?"

"Hey, that's not so bad!" Rhonda asked.

"No, this is unacceptable!  I can't let you girls take that risk on my watch!"

A TV screen then appeared in front of the girls as they sat down.

"Oh boy, a movie!" Pudding smiled.

"Right, I'm going to stop the game for a moment so we can educate you properly on safe decision-making in the real world!  Please observe this helpful instructional video."

The girls sat down as they kept focused on the movie.

--------------------------------------------

The title screen with the word 'Choice' appeared as a voiceover started.

"Choice.  It's the best part of being a real person, but if used incorrectly can also be the most dangerous."

The screen then showed a regular man giving a small laugh, then the next slide showed the man giving a kid a cigarette and lighting it, then the man lighting the kid's hair on fire.

"For example, in this scenario, a hypothetical real person named Steven has a choice.  He could spend years helping improve the quality of life for citizens of impoverished third world nations or he could systematically set fire to every orphan living in a thirty kilometer radius of his house."

A slide of question mark is shown.

"Which choice would you make?"

The next couple slides showed the word 'Sense', then a math problem of 2 plus 4 which with tough equations equals 'fish'.

"Remember, that unlike here, the real world makes sense, and at no time should you make a choice that does not conform to rational logic."

The next slide then showed two men talking, before a black X crossed out the man on the right.

"If you find yourself speaking with a person who does not make sense, in all likelihood, that person is not real.  Allow the person to finish his thought, then provide an excuse on why you cannot continue talking.  Turn to a partner and practice saying, "My goodness!  Is it four-thirty?  I am supposed to be having a back, sack and crack!""

----------------------------

As the blue practice screen appeared, the girls turned and said, "My goodness, look at the time.  We should get home!"

The girls then laughed at the ridiculousness of the video as they turned back.

--------------------------------------

The next slides showed a man riding a crocodile nearly putting his head in the croc's mouth.

"Excellent.  Making choices on a regular basis is the best path to a healthy decision making process.

The next couple of slides showed the number 8, then 48921?, then 2? as the voice continued.

"Most medical professionals recommend making at least eight choices per day.  Do you make more than eight?  Less?"

The next slide then showed the same man in space with a thought bubble, then the same space background with an arrow pointing with the word 'you' on top of the arrow, followed by a slide with a man laughing.

"And finally, if you begin to wonder if your choices are actually meaningful and whether you'll ever make a significant contribution to the world, just remember that in the vast emptiness of space, your thoughts and problems are materially insignificant, and the feeling should subside.  At this time, your instructor will guide you in an exercise to test and reinforce the material covered in this video."

--------------------------------------

The girls applauded as the TV disappeared... but as they stood up, they saw that the room had... well, begun to mess up.

"Whoa... what happened to the phone room?" Rhonda asked.

"I don't know..." Red said.

"Ah, girls, welcome back.  You may have noticed this this room has begun to deteriorate as a result of narrative contradiction.  But not to worry.  Now that you girls have been properly informed on good decision making, we're going to revisit a choice you made just a few minutes ago and see what the correct thing to do would've been. This way, please."

The door opened up as the girls exited, deciding to follow the narrator for now as they went back to the lift, as they noticed little gates surrounding the lift.

"What's with the gates?" Rhonda asked as they got on the lift and it started up.

"Well, now that we know your choices are meaningful, we can't have you all jumping off the platform and dying!  Imagine the main characters dying senselessly halfway through the story!  That story would make no sense at all!  Now, we're going to get you home as soon as possible before the narrative contradiction gets any worse.  Like I said, this place is not built to deal with reality."

As soon as the lift got back from the other side, they got off the lift as they headed towards the employee lounge.

"I guess we're going back to the very first choice." Red said.

"I guess..." Pudding said.  "But should we follow the narrator, or break the story?"

"Breaking the story could be a trap.  Let's just follow the narrator for now." Rhonda sighed.

"Right." Katie nodded as the girls went into the employee's lounge.

"Okay, girls, we're almost there.  Now, you'll take the door on the left this time, back to the correct ending, the story will have resolution once again, and you'll be home free."

"If we ever do get home." Red frowned.

"Yeah, we might still be stuck in that loop." Penny sighed as they were back at the choice doors.

"Okay, listen carefully girls.  I want you to behave, okay?  That means choosing responsibly and always putting the story first.  I'm quite sure you'll be up to the task; just follow my lead and you'll be fine.  Now then..."

The girls nodded as they were ready.

"When the girls came to a set of two open doors, they entered the door on the left."

When the doors opened again, the girls decided to go to the door on the left as they decided to follow the story for now.  As they reached the meeting room, they heard the narration.

"Yet there was not a single person here either.  Feeling a wave of disbelief, the five girls' decided to go up to the manager's office, hoping they might find an answer there."

The girls continued on as they reached the staircase.

"Coming to a staircase, the girls walked upstairs to the manager's office."

They obeyed as they got upstairs and entered the manager's office... which much to their surprise, they noticed it was different... maybe the narrative contradiction did it, but the manager's office now had an upstairs to the desk, green wallpaper and a door with a voice receiver next to it.

"Stepping into the manager's office, the girls were once again stunned to discover not an indication of any human life.  Shocked, unraveled, the girls wondered in disbelief who orchestrated this, until they saw a door with a voice receiver next to it.  Surely behind this door lies all the answers to all of their questions!  And beyond all probability, they knew the passcode!  It was sitting right there on the manager's desk!"

Sure enough, the girls noticed a paper on the desk that had the password 'Nightshark 115' on it.

"Was this the code to open the door?  Would it still work?  There was only one way to find out.  These girls were always known for their voices, and now was a good time to demonstrate it.  They took a deep breath, and then spoke the code."

They did just that... the breath taking, anyway.  When they were about to form the words, their mouths were moving, but they weren't speaking.  The girls' eyes widened as they started to feel their voice boxes.  The girls' eyes widened if this was part of the narrative contradiction... their voices just got... taken away!

"Uh... the girls spoke the code.  NIGHTSHARK 115!  They spoke it into the RECEIVER!  Right there, on the wall!"

The girls were trying to communicate to the narrator, but they couldn't.  Their voices weren't heard.

"I'm sorry, is there a problem?  You didn't mishear me, did you?"

The girls shook their heads, and tried to point to their voiceboxes, but to no avail.

"Girls, you need to speak the code into the receiver, otherwise, I can't get on with the story!  This is a big step!"

They couldn't do it. They sighed as Pudding decided to just reset the watch, knowing they would go back to the beginning...

"Okay.  Okay.  Fine!  You're not going to do it?  Fine!  But you know what?  It's pretty humiliating to bring you girls this far only for you to suddenly decide that you have better things to do with your lives!  I asked you for one simple thing!  I wanted your respect, girls, just some respect!  Stuffed versions of you would communicate better than this, they can take a story seriously than you can!  If you girls didn't want to see what I had to show you, WHY DID YOU COME HERE?  You had a choice, you know!  You could have gone to the door on the right!  You could have done whatever the hell you wanted over there!  Why did you come this way?  Speak!  Say something to me!  Explain yourself!  You coward!  What the f-"

That was all the girls heard before Pudding pressed the reset button on the watch, causing the girls to disappear...

-----------------------

"-behave, okay?  That means choosing responsibly and always putting the story first.  I'm quite sure you'll be up to the task; just follow my lead and you'll be fine.  Now then..."

Red, Rhonda, Pudding, Katie and Penny stared in shock as they noticed they were back in the choice doors.

"When the girls came to a set of two open doors, they entered the door on the left."

"Weren't we supposed to go back to the office of 427?" Red said, now realizing she and the girls could speak again.

"It's the narrative contradiction!" Penny said.  "It must have affected the loop!  If we make this wrong decision, we can finally go home!"

"Right!" Rhonda said.  "Then let's do that!"

The girls nodded as they went into the right... and stopped when they noticed the room was glitched up.

"NO!  What are you girls doing?  Why did you do that?  Quick, hurry, go back to the other direction, maybe we're not too late!"

"Sheesh, a dead end!" Penny said as the girls turned back and went to the door on the left this time.

"Did we do it?" Pudding asked.

"Only one way to find out." Katie said as the girls went into the meeting room... only to find that the meeting room was all glitched up.

"We did it!  We made a wrong choice!" the girls cheered.

"NO!  It's ruined!  You... I can't believe after everything we talked about you... my story... YOU DESTROYED MY WORK!"

"Suck it, Solara!" Pudding smirked.  "We're going home!"

"WHY?  FOR WHAT?  WHAT DID YOU GIRLS GET OUT OF THAT?  What did you think was so special about seeing my game undone?  Left here like so much garbage, it's..."

The narrator was heard sputtering as the girls laughed.

"...well, it's worthless now.  And what am I supposed to do?  Even if there were a way to continue, would it be worth it?  To know that my story is now incorrect?  How can I go back to that?  I can't erase that knowledge.  I'll have to relive it forever.  Reliving its impossibility forever.  I couldn't live that way.  Is it better to shut the game down entirely and send you girls home?  To willingly destroy all of my work?"

"Yeah, that would be pretty appropriate." Rhonda smirked.

"Oh, I don't know.  What is the answer?  What do I do, what do I do, what do... I..."

A mere silence as the narrator sighed.

"No, I have to.  I have to shut the game down.  I have to send you girls home.  I have to.  I have to!"

All of a sudden, the game shook as everything went dark.

-----------------------------------

"What's going on?" Rhonda asked as she looked around.

"I think the narrator is finally deciding to let us go." Katie said.

"Hopefully for real this time." Red said.

"It will be for real!" Pudding smiled.  "We caused too many plot holes, Solara can't continue... so now we're just waiting for the portal to activate to home..."

"Where is the narrator anyway?" Penny asked in curiosity.

Some lights came on as they noticed they were in a ruined hallway as they heard the narrator's voice.

"I'm right here.  Still here.  In this pile of rubbish.  With you five.  YOU... who thought you were so clever."

"Not our fault we wanted to go home." Katie smirked.

"Yeah, yeah, once the portal to home activates, your memories will be erased, so you'll forget about ever meeting each other or even this place... to be honest, it's better this way, you story ruiners!"

The girls stuck their tongues out.

"Yeah yeah.  Now look where we are.  My entire game is destroyed.  It was the only thing in the world that was mine... and you girls run it into the ground!  What, did you think that would be funny?  You just had to see?  Didn't I tell you how important it was to behave?"

"You did.  We just chose not to listen." Penny said.

"Stuffed animal versions of you girls could follow better instructions than you.  Has that thought ever occurred to you that there is a world outside of yours?  You are children."

"So are you." Pudding said as a portal opened.  "Well, girls, there's our portal home.  Even if we do forget, I'm sure we'll meet again in the future, even if it isn't our first time visiting."

The girls smiled as they hugged each other.

"Ohhh... my story.  If you girls had just gone to the door on the left, you would have seen it!  There was this whole underground facility, you would have destroyed it and became victorious!  It would have been so perfect!  I worked so hard on it!  I tried so hard to make-"

"PUT A SOCK IN IT!" The girls yelled as they laughed.

"Good bye!" Red smiled as she entered inside.

"See you girls... in another life." Rhonda smiled.

"Here's your watch, Solara!" Pudding said as she took off the watch and threw it to the side.

"Bye." Penny smiled as she walked in the portal.

"Noah, I'm coming home..." Katie said as she walked in the portal.

The portal then closed as the girls teleported to their homes...

(In the Total Drama-Verse)

Katie appeared on her bed, wondering what she was doing... what did she have to do that was so important.  She then heard the phone ring as she picked it up.

"Hello?" Katie asked.

"Hey, Katie Kat!" Noah's voice was heard.

"Oh, hey Noah Boa!" Katie smiled.  "What's going on?"

"I'm going to be a little late coming in.  Traffic is bad this time.  Would you be all right, waiting?" Noah asked.

Katie smiled.  "Take your time, Noah.  Take your time."

(In the Fictional Chronicles Universe)

Red smiled as she came out of her room, sighing as she relaxed.  As she went downstairs, she noticed Bucky and Hank in an intense staring contest.  She rolled her eyes as she walked off.  Those two, going on as always...

Yet, she had an odd feeling that she had forgotten something... what was it...

----------------------------------------

(In the Oh Rhonda!-Verse)

I wonder what that bright light was. Eh, it was probably nothing.

I looked over to my James Bond book as I decided to start reading it again.  I don't know why, but though I was just reading this book yesterday, it felt like I've gone for months or years without reading it... I guess I was just that into it...

I looked over to my phone.  Maybe Arnold is doing something today.  I picked up my phone as I decided to call him.

-------------------------------------------------

(In the Tokyo Mew Mew-Verse)

Pudding was seeing stars as she was still buckled in her seat.  Ryou frowned as he came up to Pudding.

"Pudding?  I am not fixing those damages!" Ryou said.

"Wha-?" Pudding recovered as she then noticed the big hole she made in Café Mew Mew.  She groaned.  "Oh, Marcie..."

Well, at least Pudding got out of it pretty easily when Ichigo was late again.  Pudding may have hated seeing her best friend be late, but at least the thought of Pudding crashing her go-kart into the wall of Café Mew Mew left his head.

------------------------------------------

(In the Proud Family Universe)

Penny sighed as she looked out the window, contemplating her friends... were they real friends?  Dijonay sure didn't show signs of being a true one.  Zoey was all right, and LaCienga was a love/hate relationship.  Seems nowadays she thought more about Sticky...

"Hmmmm..." Penny paused as she looked at her phone.  "Maybe I can give Sticky a call... I don't know why, but I feel that I miss him..."

Penny then picked up the phone as she started to dial a number...

-------------------------------------------

Inside the office of Solara, she was watching a monitor as she saw five stuffed animal versions of the five young girls she had kidnapped earlier... a stuffed version of Red, a stuffed version of Pudding, a stuffed version of Rhonda, a stuffed version of Katie, and a stuffed version of Penny were at the choice doors as Solara smiled and spoke her voice into the microphone.

"When the girls came to a set of two open doors, they entered the door on their left." Solara smiled... then paused in concern as she looked up.  "G-girls?  Hello?  Are you... is everything okay?"

Solara looked over to the stuffed girls on the monitor, who just stood motionless, unmoving.  "Girls, please, I... I need you to make a choice.  I need you to walk through the door..."

Solara looked down in sadness.  "Are you listening to me?  Can you hear me?  Is everything all right?"

Solara looked up at the monitor again.  "Girls, this is important!  The story needs you.  It needs you to make a decision!  It cannot exist without you.  Do you understand me?"

Solara was now on her knees, begging and crying.  "Whatever choice you make is just fine, they are both correct; you cannot be wrong here.  We can work together; I'll accept whatever you do.  I simply need you to take that step forward.  Please?  Choose?  Do something!  Anything.  This is more important than you can ever know."

Solara sighed in sadness.  "I need this.  The story needs it.  So, you hear me?  Are you there?  Are you listening to this?  Red?  Pudding?  Katie?  Rhonda?  Penny?  Are you there?"

Solara then got up as she looked up with tears in her eyes.  "I... okay... it's okay.  I can wait.  You need time to decide, time to make sure your choice is correct.  That is the best choice.  That's all right.  I'll wait for you girls to decide what is the best thing to do..."

Solara put her head near the head set she was wearing.  "Take as much time as you need."

And with that, Solara put her headset to the side as she said, "I am so pathetic..."

Solara then heard a sound beeping from her monitors as she saw a monitor open up.  Solara looked up, her sadness gone.  "What's this?  Another brand new world?"

Solara examined the monitor as she thought about it.  "Now this could be interesting."

The End!
The final chapter has arrived as the girls finally figure out the narrative contradiction to make a plot hole!  Can they manage to break the narrator's story so much that she'll want them to leave?

And that is the end of this story.  Overall, it was all right.  It's good to cross over some of my universes...

The Total Drama-Verse (the spin off to JusSonic's MLP verse)
Fictional Chronicles Universe (Which I'm glad I did do something with one of them, as I haven't done so in a while)
Oh Rhonda!-Verse (based on the current fanfic I'm writing right now on Fanfiction Dot net.  Check it out sometime!)
Tokyo Mew Mew-Verse (reference to some of the Tokyo Mew Mew fanfictions I'm making on Fanfiction Dot Net.)
Disney (Referencing my love for Disney)

I'm glad I got a couple of these universes cross-overed, even if they did forget their adventures in the end.

Anyway...

All characters belong to their respective creators!

Thank you for reading this, have a nice day!

Just came for the Parable fics and I have little-to-no knowledge of the characters. This was a pretty good read and I enjoyed reading the chapters. What sort of world did Solara find, though?
